SageNet Expanding its Cybersecurity Services Division

May 17, 2017

TULSA, OK — SageNet, a leading managed network and security services provider, is expanding its Cybersecurity Services division by moving to a larger facility in Media, Pa. and hiring additional cybersecurity professionals.

SageNet’s cybersecurity division, which is based in Media, offers SageNet customers across the country a full line of cybersecurity solutions, including: managed security operations services, SIEM deployments, cybersecurity assessments, compliance assessments, and security consulting services.

According to Paul Truitt, SageNet Chief Technology and Security Officer, the company is expanding into a bigger facility to accommodate the company’s rapidly growing cybersecurity business.

“Most companies today understand the critical importance of protecting their customer data from online threats,” said Truitt. “Because many of these companies lack the resources to implement an effective security program, our cybersecurity team has become very busy. As a result, we quickly outgrew our old space.”

SageNet will be moving from an 1,800-square-foot space to a 4,000-square-foot facility at 12 S. Monroe St. in Media, Pa, a suburb of Philadelphia. The facility includes a 1,200-square-foot security operations center.

In addition, Truitt said SageNet will be expanding its team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers. Four new positions are being added now, with the anticipated addition of 8-10 new cybersecurity professionals over the next year.

“We’ve put together a very talented team of certified cybersecurity analysts, engineers and architects,” he said. “As organizations face increasingly complex IT environments and threats that are harder to combat, it will be more important than ever for them to work with a partner like SageNet who can provide a full suite of cybersecurity solutions.”

“We are excited to have this opportunity to expand our cybersecurity operations,” added SageNet President Brad Wise. “SageNet already provides organizations access to one of the most experienced cybersecurity teams in the public or private sector. With this new facility and an expanding team of security analysts, we are well positioned to protect our customers for the future.”
