Andreas Georghiou
Chief Executive Officer
Previous to Spacenet, Mr. Georghiou was the Chief Commercial
Officer for SES Americom, and its predecessor, GE Americom, a
unit of GE, and a member of Americom’s Management Committee.
Mr. Georghiou has been with SES Americom for over 20 years in
various leadership roles including President of Americom Asia
Pacific, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations,
and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. While the company
was still GE Americom, he served as a GE Capital Officer. He started
his career at the world renown RCA, David Sarnoff Research Labs.
Mr. Georghiou holds an undergraduate degree from the University
of Pennsylvania, and a master's degree from the Wharton School
of Business, where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar.
Glenn
Katz
President and Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining Spacenet in 2005, Mr. Katz was with StarBand
Inc. were he held the positions of acting Chief Executive Officer,
Chief Information Officer, and Vice President of Sales. Prior
to joining StarBand, Mr. Katz was with Gilat Satellite Networks
for over 11 years and held several executive roles in both the
Tel-Aviv headquarters and Florida subsidiaries. He started his
career in Gilat in the R&D department in Israel before becoming
VP of Product Development for SkyData Inc., a wholly owned Gilat
subsidiary in Florida. Following this, Mr. Katz helped launch
Gilat Latin America, Inc. and served as the CTO and VP of Engineering
and Operations. After that he returned to Gilat headquarters in
Tel-Aviv in the role of VP of World Wide Customer Services. Before
joining Gilat, Mr. Katz worked with Digital Transmission Systems,
and Scientific Atlanta as a design and development engineer. Mr.
Katz earned both his undergraduate and graduate degree in Electrical
Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.
David
Myers
Senior Vice President, Marketing & Corporate
Development
David Myers returned to Spacenet in 2006 as Senior Vice President
of Marketing & Corporate Development. Prior to rejoining Spacenet,
Mr. Myers served as Vice President of Marketing & Product
Management for CapRock Communications, a global satellite service
provider to the energy, maritime, construction, and government
markets. At CapRock Mr. Myers was responsible for significantly
expanding and standardizing the product line, entering new vertical
markets and establishing brand leadership. During his initial
tenure with Spacenet, Mr. Myers served as Director of Marketing
and Product Management. In this role, Mr. Myers was responsible
for the conception, development and launch of Connexstar, Spacenet's
first "off-the-shelf" wide-area-networking satellite
service designed exclusively for corporate enterprise. Mr. Myers
has also held key positions in strategic planning, product development,
and sales and marketing with Facilitech Inc., HP-Compaq and Omron
IDM Controls. Mr. Myers received an MBA in Technology Marketing
from Rice University, a Master of Science in Telecommunications
from Madison University, and undergraduate degrees in business
and international relations from Southern Methodist University.

Aditya Chatterjee
Chief Technology Officer
Aditya Chatterjee has been a technology pioneer in the satellite
communications industry since before he joined Spacenet in 1988.
Mr. Chatterjee has managed engineering and product development
initiatives for Spacenet from both an R&D and custom solutions
perspective. With a technical expertise that ranges from satellite
radio frequency management to protocol conversion to IP-based
application performance enhancement, Mr. Chatterjee has been responsible
for many "firsts" in deployment over VSAT technology.
Mr. Chatterjee has authored a number of patents related to legacy
protocol spoofing, TCP acceleration, and Internet Page Acceleration.
Prior to joining Spacenet, Mr. Chatterjee held engineering positions
with Comsat Labs. He also holds an M.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering
from Virginia Tech, as well as a BTECH in Electronics and Communications
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Michael Hughes
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Hughes brings more than 25 years of experience in finance
and telecommunications, managing both U.S. domestic and international
accounting and financial operations. Prior to joining Spacenet,
he held a range of finance positions including: Senior Manager
for FinSol LLC; Senior Vice President and Controller for Intelsat
Global Service Corporation; Vice President, Finance for Lockheed
Martin Global Communications and COMSAT Corporation. Hughes is
a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned a BSBA in Accounting
from Georgetown University.
Mark
Bresnahan
Vice President & General Counsel
Mark Bresnahan has more than 20 years experience in telecommunications
and corporate law, managing complex contract vehicles and a variety
of other legal topics. Holding the position of Vice President
& General Counsel since 1994, Mr. Bresnahan had previously
served as Spacenet’s Assistant General Counsel since 1990.
Over the years Mr. Bresnahan has overseen a number of merger and
acquisition projects related to Spacenet and its various parent
organizations. Mr. Bresnahan's department is responsible for all
legal issues related to Spacenet 's business ranging from FCC
licensing to customer contract vehicles to contract process management
and corporate governance. Mr. Bresnahan holds a J.D. from
George Washington University's National Law Center as well as
a B.A. in Political Science from the College of Holy Cross.
Mike Mazza
Vice President, Government Services
Mazza brings 20 years of combined management and technical experience in the satellite industry. Prior to joining Spacenet, he held a range of sales management and executive positions, including: Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for RELM Wireless; Vice President of Sales for North and South America, and various other roles, for Gilat Satellite Networks; and Manager of Project Engineering, and Director of Global Network Operations, for AT&T Tridom. Mazza has an academic background in electrical engineering from Technical Career Institutes in Manhattan.
