Spacenet Appoints Ziv Ben-Barouch as Chief Financial Officer

McLean, VA, September 7, 2005 - Spacenet Inc. today announced that it has named technology industry finance veteran Ziv Ben-Barouch as its new Chief Financial Officer. Ben-Barouch brings to the company a new level of expertise in acquisitions, global investment, capital markets and the financial management of growing companies as they develop and enter new markets.

Ben-Barouch’s most recent position was Vice President of Finance and CFO of ClearForest Corp., a text analytics software firm and a Greylock Partners portfolio company.  Prior to his tenure at ClearForest, Ben-Barouch worked in a senior management role for an investment organization that handled turnarounds and restructuring. He has over 10 years of auditing and financial management experience with companies in Israel and the United States. Ben-Barouch holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Tel Aviv University and a M.B.A with a concentration in finance from the City University of New York, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
