Spacenet introduces its new Small Business Solutions program to convenience stores and petroleum retailers at NACStech 2006

McLean, VA, May 22, 2006 — Spacenet Inc. announced that it will be introducing its new Small Business solutions to convenience store and petroleum retailers at NACStech 2006, booth 612. Spacenet’s Small Business Solutions program provides franchise organizations with a single source for broadband access, network management and comprehensive help desk services – all for extremely competitive prices.

Because Spacenet offers DSL, cable modem and VSAT satellite broadband, c-store and petroleum retailers virtually anywhere in the United States can take advantage of the program. For the first time, truly affordable commercial-grade broadband options are available to franchise businesses outside the areas served by DSL and cable high-speed services.

The Spacenet Small Business Solutions program provides high-speed Internet access (which can optionally be restricted to customer-defined URLs), credit card transaction support, e-mail accounts, web site hosting, virus protection and network security features. Connectivity add-on options include on-site maintenance packages and the Spacenet Prysm network appliance that can be used for firewalling, application routing and dialup/network backup functions. In addition, the technical support offering provides a first level help desk that includes support for connectivity in addition to the franchisee’s POS equipment, credit processing terminals and back office PC and printer equipment. Customers can also “bring their own” connectivity from providers other than Spacenet for use with the help desk service.
