Spacenet offers free training and networking
events for current and prospective StarBand resellers at Satellite
& Broadband Expo 2007 in Atlanta, April 18 – 21
McLean, VA, April 11, 2007 – Spacenet
Inc. announced that it will offer free live training programs
to all Satellite & Broadband Expo 2007 attendees interested
in becoming an authorized dealer or agent for Spacenet’s
StarBand Nova series of satellite Internet services. In addition,
Spacenet will be hosting a special reception and a tour of the
company’s Atlanta-area teleport. Current and prospective
StarBand dealers will be able to learn more about the popular
StarBand Nova products as well as Spacenet’s advanced line
of Connexstar business satellite services.
These events will be offered during Satellite & Broadband
Expo (SBE) 2007, taking place April 18th – 21st in Atlanta,
GA. The event brings together retailers and technicians in the
satellite industry and represents specialties such as fiber optics,
WiFi, VoIP and networking equipment companies. Spacenet is exhibiting
at SBE (booth #617) and will showcase the high-performance features
of its new StarBand Nova services for residential and small office
customers.
Spacenet’s event schedule at SBE includes:
- On April 18th, Spacenet is providing a free three-hour StarBand
installation training course. Qualifying attendees who sign-up
for Spacenet’s Dealer Program and receive training certification
will be eligible to sell and install the new StarBand Nova series
of broadband services.
- On April 19th, Spacenet is inviting StarBand dealers and
potential dealers to attend a cocktail reception at the Hilton
Americas in Atlanta, GA to meet with Spacenet senior representatives
and to network with colleagues.
- On April 20th, Spacenet is hosting a tour of its state-of-the-art
satellite hub facilities in Marietta, GA, which will include
the opportunity to meet with Spacenet executives as well as
technical and support staff.
