Spacenet signs contract with Texas Roadhouse
to provide advanced satellite network services to 240 restaurant
locations nationwide
McLean, VA, May 18, 2007 - Spacenet Inc. today
announced that it has signed an enterprise network services contract
with Texas Roadhouse. The casual dining restaurant concept operates
in 44 states, and Spacenet’s Connexstar satellite services
are being used at 240 of its restaurant locations.
Texas Roadhouse has been utilizing a Spacenet Connexstar network
since 2002 to support vital retail applications such as credit/debit
card authorization, point-of-sale (POS) polling and high-speed
Internet/intranet access. Spacenet is also providing on-site maintenance
and will offer new technology platform upgrade options to Texas
Roadhouse operators.
