(Nasdaq: GILT) and one of the world’s leading providers of satellite networking solutions, announced today that its CEO, Andreas Georghiou, was nominated for Via Satellite’s Satellite Executive of the Year 2008 award. Nominees were selected based on major achievements in 2008 and their contributions to the satellite industry as a whole. The seven nominees were announced in Via Satellite’s February issue, and the winner will be announced at the SATELLITE 2009 conference in Washington D.C. on March 26th.
