Spacenet is proud to introduce Global Services for multinational organizations. Spacenet now offers worldwide broadband communications services with uniform, high-quality connectivity and a seamless service portfolio and a single SLA and point of contact globally.
Global companies today are dealing with the headaches of using multiple service providers around the world, or receiving drastically variant levels of service and reliability in different regions. What these multinational customers have told Spacenet is that they are seeking a single service provider who can offer "US-quality" service infrastructures and SLAs across the globe; or, at a minimum, manage the varying infrastructures and SLAs from one managed POC.
VSAT is a perfect technology for this requirement, with its ubiquitous availability and complete control of the transmission link from hub to last mile. Spacenet's decades of experience and the strong worldwide presence of Gilat satellite hub facilities make us ideally suited to offer multinationals one-stop shopping for broadband services.
Spacenet is coordinating a series of alliances with leading regional satellite operators as well as agreements with international terrestrial carriers to enable the management and integration of networks across the world. Each service provider will deliver service locally, including hub facilities, installation, maintenance, and operations. Spacenet knits these providers together, centralizing the data traffic, managing the service levels and creating worldwide offerings, and handling billing, foreign currency exchange and settlement issues.
